The Price of Freedom
I am a Battle Captain for an Attack Helicopter Battalion in the First Cavalry Division, currently deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. I am an AH-64D Longbow Apache helicopter pilot and a veteran of OIF II. I have a very amazing son, David, who I miss very much and think about every day. I plan on getting out of the military as soon as I am able to go work for my dad in Florida. I hope to start a nice little business of my own someday!

David James
David has accomplished a few new things these days we thought you all would enjoy hearing about them. He is walking around very well these days, even trying to run when he sees something that is exciting. He has said his first word: Ball! He has said a couple other things but Ball is the only word he actually associates with the correct object. In keeping with the "ball" theme, David has learned how to play soccer! He walks up behind the ball and kicks it around the house. He actually controls how hard he kicks and where the ball goes. Oh! And he just learned how to clap. We are working on how to kiss mommy and daddy back. These are all things that we can't quite get on camera so we thought we'd just let you know.
This is Davids new favorite thing to do. Flipping light switches on and off, on and off, on and off.
